The story of our marine collagen starts long before we ship it out. It all begins with MSC-certified fisheries that catch fish for industries like the food sector. From there we receive by-products from the fish— materials that would otherwise go unused. These by-products are transformed into high-quality marine collagen.
Our collagen is made from the skin of the fish which is usually discarded. By repurposing these materials, we improve resource efficiency and reduce waste in the seafood industry. This also aligns with our commitment to sustainability while producing premium collagen for both bulk and private label clients.
Customization with Private Label
We know that one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why we offer a Private Label service that allows you to customize our marine collagen to fit your brand. Whether you’re looking for a bulk supply or a finished product, we work closely with you to create the perfect solution tailored to your needs.
Choosing MSC-certified ingredients, like our collagen, means you’re supporting a more sustainable seafood industry. By utilizing fish skins, we ensure that nothing goes to waste, turning what would have been discarded into valuable products.
Production process
Once the frozen skins reach our production facility, the real transformation begins. The skins are thoroughly washed, and a mild acid is used to extract the collagen proteins. These proteins, rich in essential nutrients, are separated from the solid materials to form the base of our marine collagen. From there, we refine the product to perfection.
To ensure our collagen is as pure and effective as possible, we use enzymes to break down the collagen into smaller, more digestible peptide chains, making it easier for the body to absorb. From there, we filter to remove any remaining impurities and then evaporate to prepare the extract for the next step. The final step is spray-drying it into a fine, neutral-smelling powder.
Maintaining the highest quality standards is the heart of our production process. Our operators carefully monitor every batch—checking temperature, cleanliness, and even sensory details like taste and smell. After production, samples are sent to external labs for independent testing. Only when everything meets our strict safety and quality standards the collagen is released for shipment. This process ensures that our customers receive top-quality collagen, every time.
